Spring 2013

We have wrapped up another successful soccer season and squeezed in a trip to West Virginia.   Brianna was bucked off her first horse (Cookie).  Brianna's school will be taking their end of grade testing this week so we plan to have a FUN time in the evening.

Newest addition

This is Lucky and we rescued him. He is such a sweet dog and we are praying he comes through his heartworm treatment. He gets his first shot on Tuesday.

Ice Ice Baby

Is what we have in Raleigh, NC. I have attached a picture of Bri's Ice Angel.

Spring Day

As Spring accelerates upon us, we are excited to be taking some family time to enjoy some much needed R&R. Bri and I began the annual journey of mommy & daughter gardening this morning which includes lots of beans with a touch of tomatoes, squash and zucchini.

This afternoon we tool advantage of some wind left over from yesterday to fly Bri's kite from the trip to China, fished in the pond and she is watching kid videos on the IPad.

What an awesome weekend we are having in sunny NC.

Buddy resting after spending the morning outside. He is waiting on Burt to arrive tonight and feed him lots of table food at our first cookout of the year.

China Visit Spring 2011

Our visit to China was absolutely AMAZING. We met 6 of the greatest families one could have ask for. We were treated like royalty and given the red carpet treatment. I kept a journal this time and will post some of it over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, we were not able to obtain access to the blog during our 14 days journey. Our families (Simpson, May & Dorsey) seen anything from the Great Wall of China to the little babies in the Orphanages. This trip provided us so many memorial moments to cherish over the years to come or at least until we return in 3 - 5 years.

Holiday Season 2010

Life has been a roller coaster in our house this year. We have had many good days and some bad ones. We spent a week this summer at the beach with the family, spent some time in Asheville at the Biltmore as well.

This fall, Bri ran her first race with mommy and she did awesome.

I have attached a few pictures of Bri from this fall and her Santa picture. She is so excited about going to West Virginia this summer so she can play in the SNOW.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Soccer

A true sign of SPRING is hearing children's laughs while playing on the soccer field. Bri's soccer season started this past Saturday. She is the only girl on her team but she isn't afraid of taking the ball from the boys. Here is a pix of her doing some drills.
