Summer Fun

We have had such a busy Summer so far. Since our last post, we have had the Stern's come to town to visit. We traveled to China with them 4 1/2 years ago to adopt our precious little girls. They brought back a bundle of joy "Rachel" and we received our Princess Bri. They were traveling through on their way to Florida and since we are right off I95, they stopped and spent the night. It was a great time, seeing Rich and Marie and to see how the girls would interact. Rich is a police offerice in Pittsburgh, so Bri was fasinated with his gun.

Tim and I had the opportunity to do a date night and see Keith Urban and Sugarland in concert. It was nice to get out by ourselves and enjoy each others time. We took Bri to screaming mimi's which she loves.

Last week, Bri learned to cast he fishing pole, so we took her to pick out a big girl fishing pole. She is just like her Aunt Beth, it is PINK. Girl loves her pink stuff.

This weekend was Father's Day and the weather has been 95+ for the past 3 days. Saturday, we played outside in the pool and on the Slip N Slide. Bri had a blast but mommy woke up with a sore back this morning. Oh well, you only live once and we had a great time. Tim was mowing the grass and had a great time watching us as we were sliding on down our little hill in the back yard.

The garden has been a great way to spend some quality time with Bri this summer. She has helped me can some green beans and make some pickles.

We are looking forward to seeing the Simpson's in 2 weeks. We haven't seen Terry and Emmy in quite sometime, so it will be nice to chat with them. We are headed out to celebrate Emmy being pregnant; due this Christmas.
